  • Guests must meet the specifications for membership in REIAC. To be a full member, the individual must be directly affiliated with a "principal" entity. This excludes brokers, third-party property management companies, service providers, vendors, accountants and law firms. We define "principals" to include: Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) possessing the discretion to invest on behalf of endowments and pension funds Banks, life insurance companies and other financial institutions and intermediaries Owners and developers actively involved in significant real estate transactions Operators of real estate investment funds REITs The REIAC Board of Directors has the right to refuse admission to those who do not qualify for membership. Joe Blackbourn, President & CEO
Everest Holdings

Joe Blackbourn founded Everest Holdings in 2002. His investment and development experience includes office buildings, multifamily communities, shopping centers, hotel properties, business parks, mixed-use developments, land, loan purchases, and portfolios of distressed assets. Currently, Everest Holdings operates several equity investment strategies and a debt platform.

Joe is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and will answer to Badger or Cheesehead interchangeably.

He is active in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is perhaps most proud of his work on Partnership Forum, Arizona’s mentorship program for Young Leaders.

Joe is a member of NAIOP, Lambda Alpha International and REIAC. He serves on the Board of Directors of First Place Arizona and the Board of Visitors of the Political Science Department at the University of Wisconsin. He is on the advisory committee for ASU’s excellent MRED program.
